What the analysis is — and what it isn’t
Each analysis is written by a language model reading the article. It is labelled as AI in the app, it shows its working, and it can be wrong. Here is how to read it.
Per-company impact
One story can help the company that won a contract and hurt the one that lost it, so the direction is read company by company — with the mechanism, and whether the company was named in the filing or inferred.
Confidence
The model’s opinion of its own reading. A high score is not a measure of whether the reading is right.
The case against
Every reading comes with the strongest argument against it, so you see the other side before you weigh it.
English & Sinhala
Read it in the language you think in
Switch the reading language from the app’s top bar. Stories published in Sinhala are shown in Sinhala, set in a typeface made for the script. Where a story only exists in English — as most CSE filings do — the app says so instead of quietly switching languages.

Is CSE News Report free?
Yes. The news and the company and sector alerts are free, supported by ads. The AI analysis on an article unlocks when you watch a short video, or on every article at once with Pro.
What does Pro include, and how much is it?
Pro unlocks the AI analysis on every article with no video, removes ads everywhere in the app and lets you copy article text. There are weekly, monthly and yearly plans; the current price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you subscribe. Billing is handled by Google Play and you can cancel any time from your Play subscriptions.
Is the AI analysis investment advice?
No. It is the output of a language model, published for information only. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Read the disclaimer for the full picture.
How accurate is the analysis?
It can be wrong. The model can misread a filing, attribute an effect to the wrong company, or sound more certain than the information supports. The confidence score is the model’s opinion of its own reading, not a guarantee. Check anything material against the original filing on cse.lk.

No. There is no sign-up, email or profile. Your saved articles and the alerts you choose stay on your device. The privacy policy lists exactly what third parties receive.
