About the analysis
The sentiment, severity and affected-company readings on each article are produced by a language model. They are labelled as such in the app and shown with the model’s own confidence score. They can be wrong. A high confidence score is the model’s opinion of its own reading, not a guarantee.
Sources and accuracy
CSE News Report publishes its own reporting. We compile market intelligence from brokers, industry contacts and public company disclosures, then write and analyse each item ourselves. Most articles therefore have no external link, and we say so on the article rather than attributing it elsewhere.
We do not guarantee that any figure we publish is accurate. Verify anything material against the company’s own filings on cse.lk before acting on it. If you believe something we published is wrong, write to oxymaillc@gmail.com — we correct or withdraw it.
Accuracy and corrections
We correct errors when we find them or when they are reported. An article that is withdrawn stops appearing in the app, and a link already shared says it was withdrawn rather than breaking.
Advertising
The app is free and supported by advertising. Some articles can be opened by watching a short video. Advertising has no influence on which stories are published or how they are analysed.
Availability
We do not guarantee the app is available without interruption, or that a given filing appears within any particular time.
